Frontkameraet i iPad 2 kan brukes til så mangt, blant annet 3D. Dette demonstrerer Jeremie Francone og Laurence Nigay fra EHCI Research Group.
Teknologien går ut på at front-kameraet følger brukerens hode, på den måten lages en 3D-effekt uten behov for 3D-briller.
Vi vil nok se langt mer av dette de kommende årene, også i forbrukerprodukter. Nintendo har jo allerede klart det.

Locast H2Fl0w

The Locast H2flOw project uses mobile storytelling to enhance learning and encourage urban exploration and civic engagement. The H2flOw program took Locast--a flexible, cutting-edge location-based platform--and introduced this interactive technology as a tool for educational discovery and documentation.
In the Trento region deployment, students researched the topic of sustainable water use by creating location-based video reportages and documentaries in their local context. Through this narrative and the exploration process, the students better understood the role of water and related environmental issues within their community.
